Mafalda Maia (born March 31, 2007), aka Mavie May, is a Portuguese songwriter, singer and musician from Porto, with an original indie‑pop project that places a strong focus on lyrics. Her songs explore emotions and the contradictions of everyday life, blending intense melodies with carefully crafted writing that invites listeners to dive into the poetry behind each line.

On stage, she performs original songs in an intimate yet intense setting, creating listening‑focused atmospheres where closeness with the audience is central.
