A coffee house with live music in Braga. Today there was an event called “Open Stage” that takes place around here once a month. Excellent conditions, both on stage and in terms of lighting and sound. It’s more of a Rock and Roll venue, but Mavie’s sound went down really well with the crowd. Eduardo Sinatra organizes a weekly Jam Session at this bar, and after the performance at “Castle Rock,” he invited Mavie for an extended set here at “Route 206” Once again, Eduardo and Aníbal Andrade on guitar accompanied her on some songs. It was a great, great night. Seven songs were performed. Tonight was truly special. The event host, Eduardo Sinatra, was amazing. Mavie was accompanied on some songs by Eduardo himself, who played percussion and piano at times, and by Aníbal Andrade on guitar. It was a night to remember. Seven original songs were performed along with some covers of Amy Winehouse. The Pinguim Café is undergoing renovation and has created a new event called “A Cave é Minha” (The Basement Is Mine). An artist is invited to perform a concert. It ended up being a kind of very special open mic night. There were 10 songs performed, both on guitar and piano. It was a very fun and informal evening. The audience was very engaged. Six songs were performed throughout the night. It was the first time at this bar. “The Open Mic Tour” by Mavie May has officially begun. This event, more than just a regular open mic, was a true concert. Ten songs were performed in about 40 minutes. A very welcoming venue, with good stage and sound conditions, and several friends in the audience.
